Making a legacy bequest enables the gift of education to be passed on to others.
Make a will for free and support students of the future
For some students financial support can mean the difference between going to university and not. For many, it provides an opportunity to succeed and even excel. You can help students of the future by leaving a gift in your will.
We've partnered with expert will writers, Octopus Legacy (formerly known as Guardian Angel), to offer you the chance to write your will for free today. With their help, you can make sure that your family is protected and provided for at a time when they will need it most and you'll also have the opportunity to make a difference to the lives of students at Kent.
This Giving Tuesday, we invite you to join our "Light up a life" campaign. Your support will help students facing unexpected financial hardship, sanctuary students rebuilding their futures, and those benefiting from ground-breaking Parkinson’s research. With a donation of £10, a candle will be lit in your honour at our Carols Around the Tree event. Together, we’re lighting up lives.
Kent is committed to changing the world for the better. We believe that our students and our research have the potential to make a real difference to people's lives. That's why we work hard to ensure that ambitious, talented individuals can study here, regardless of their background. We also invest in research that is tackling pressing global issues such as poverty, the refugee crisis, and the right to food.
But we can't do this alone. We need your help to support scholarships, projects and research programmes that will change lives for the better.
We’re inviting YOU to 'make your mark' on Docking Station, by naming a part of it!
Name a Brick: From just £100, your name or dedication will feature on a beautiful section of historic wall in the heritage building.
Step Up for Medway: For £500, name one of the beautiful staircase steps that will inspire countless young people to take their own steps into the future.
Window to the Future: For £1,000, your name will adorn a refurbished window, opening a brighter future for the Medway community.
This is your chance to connect with Medway’s future in a meaningful way. For details on naming opportunities or sponsorship, contact Samantha Scott.
Those three years must have been a magnificent experience in my life given that, 45 years on, I am delighted to donate funds for the benefit of the University and its students.
How your donations help
Your support makes a difference in our communities
The University of Kent and Parkinson’s Care and
Support UK need your help to give
those living with Parkinson’s disease and their families hope. We want to establish the world’s first integrated
therapy centre that will offer a comprehensive range of non-pharmacological
therapies to improve the lives of so many.
